When writing emails or making Facebook entries that include links, have you ever noticed how some links can be really long and messy?
Well this little site is what you need: http://www.bit.ly/
http://www.bit.ly/ is a simple site that shortens long website URLs. These can then be shared in emails or networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. The shortened link can also be tracked and click history can be monitered.
For example:
http://www.facebook.com/home.p...
becomes:
http://bit.ly/cHley2
How cool is that!
