Max and Matty asked us to create a website that reflected their values and the nature of their business. Their main objective was to make it easy for their customers to find out about upcoming auctions, register to buy or sell, browse available lots and find the directions to their auction house.
View WebsiteFirst we set up a holding page for the new domain name while we worked on the website behind the scenes. We approached this project intending to make the website look professional and attractive, while keeping in line with their existing logo and branding.
We used modern typefaces and strong colours that reflect the bold design of their physical store in North Shields. With some back-and-forth communication and a few design iterations, we agreed on the final design, functionality and content.
We designed a website to work great on desktop, and then scaled it down to look as good on mobile devices and tablets. Finally, we've integrated their new website with our bespoke Content Management System to make it possible to manage the website themselves.
The result is a website that presents the auction house's unique selling points and explains how they benefit their customers. The new website looks professional and attractive, featuring clear navigation that is simple and easy to use.
